We remind that you should always keep your dental appointments to stay healthy. As of this date in mask are recommended but not mandatory for patients to wear in healthcare facilities. CA CDC reports there have been no documented transmissions providing dental care in the U.S.. All agencies recognize that maintaining a good defense against viruses is still important.
We practice strict infection control protocols and we train in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We treat our Operatories as operating rooms and use full sterilization techniques to keep you safe.
All of our staff are fully Covid 19 Vaccinated with all doses.
W-e added additional protection for YOU the patients. Since CA has designated Dentists as a Medical Healthcare Facility, for safety we may suggest to:
- Wear a Medical grade MASK. We will ask you to remove it when necessary
- Wash your hands BEFORE and AFTER the appointment, and limit what you touch. We have hand sanitizer in the office.
- Screening questions about you and your family’s health.
- Please inform us immediately if your Covid Status ever changes after coming in.
- All public areas are disinfected
You will see the usual sterilization procedures that keep you safe:
- HEPA /UV Air Sterilization Filtration units in the operatories
- Strong sterilization protocol, disinfectants and disposables on all surfaces
- Barriers and social distancing markers for your convenience
We monitor changing regulations for COVID 19 from the following agencies: Center for Disease Control (CDC), American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA) , California Department of Public Health (CDPH), San Joaquin County Department of Public Health, and World Health Organization (WHO). We adhere to the Governor and County Health Officer recommendations.
