ABOUT Dr. LESTER LOW Following his graduation from Stagg High School in 1979, he attended University of California at Davis and University of California at Irvine where he majored in Biological Sciences for his Pre-Med Studies. Dr. Low then attended University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco where he attained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Full Honors. He takes pride in his family practice and has a superb eye for cosmetic dentistry also. He serves as Dentist-On-Call for numerous local convalescent hospitals, Dental Consultant for insurance companies, and as a Dental Instructor for San Joaquin County classroom education programs. Through many programs, Dr. Low is able to serve those who are less fortunate than others. He currently volunteers every month as a Staff Dentist at St. Raphael's Dental Clinic at St. Mary's Interfaith Hall for the Homeless and every year assisted at SU SALUD and Jene Wah local health fair screenings. He participates in the Donated Dental Services Program in California, performing dental services for the handicapped. He is on the Board of Directors of the San Joaquin Dental Society and serves as the Community Relations/Outreach Chairperson. Look for his press releases in local newspapers. As the liaison for the public, Dr. Low tracks dental related news to stay current with the latest technology and public concerns. He also teaches as a classroom dental educator for various elementary schools. He is an active member at both First Baptist Church and Central United Methodist Church, serving on numerous committees and boards. In 1991, he served as President of the Kiwanis Club of North Stockton and served on the Board of Directors for six years. He also enjoys supporting University of the Pacific by belonging to the Pacific Athletic Foundation and the UOP School of Dentistry Alumni Association. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys electronics, computers, cars, amateur radio, piano, and waterskiing.
